John M. Sadler has been President of Sadler & Company, Inc. since 1989. Sadler graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina in 1983 with degrees in Insurance and Finance. Sadler also graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1986 and is licensed to practice by the SC Bar. In addition, Sadler holds the Certified Insurance Counselor professional insurance designation and is a recognized author, speaker, and teacher on insurance and risk management related topics.
Sadler & Company has specialized in insuring small businesses and professionals since 1946. Our Tech Insurance division was set up as a stand alone department in 2003 in recognition of the fact that tech professionals represent an exploding sector of the US economy and have their own special insurance needs. We now insure hundreds of tech professionals such as consultants, web designers, system integrators, software developers, hardware manufacturers, etc.
Sadler & Company has spent tens of thousands of dollars in developing a first in the industry website that allows busy tech professionals to get an immediate real time quote for Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions), General Liability, and Property Insurance within 5 minutes of entering the quote section of our website. Contrast this with many of our competitor’s websites that have quote forms that take 5 minutes to complete... but, there is still at least a 24 hour turn around time on receiving your quote.
We have affiliated ourselves with the low cost insurance providers in the marketplace and leverage our significant buying power to negotiate the best deals for our clients. We recognize that many of our smaller tech clients are buying their insurance primarily to meet contractual requirements in order to be awarded a job. Of course, we hope that they also appreciate the fact that our coverages can protect them against losing everything in a lawsuit or losing their sensitive computer equipment due to a lightning strike or artificially generated electrical power surge.
For the larger tech accounts with more complicated operations and exposures to risk, we are able to tap into additional insurance carriers (at higher premium levels) that offer more specialized coverages. In addition, we are able to offer advanced risk management services such as insurance coverage audits and contract review audits.
The tech department service staff at Sadler & Company have received specialized training on tech risks and are eager to accommodate your needs. Our tech department is equipped with state of the art automation and operate in a paperless environment which helps to assure that your service needs are met in the most efficient fashion.
